METAR / TAF Decoding Workshop

In this lesson you will decode METARs and TAFs the way a dispatcher does under time pressure—identifying ceiling/visibility trends, precipitation intensity, and TEMPO groups that affect alternate selection.

Practice set includes KORD, KJFK, and KDEN samples with wind shear remarks and runway visual range. Pause the video and work each observation before the instructor reveals the ops implications.
